Natural crystal salt from the Salt Range in the Punjab province of Pakistan, 200 kilometers south of the Himalayas, has formed around 500 million years ago and is one of the highest-quality rock salts. It originates from a vast ancient sea that gradually shrank and eventually dried up due to the continental shifts of that time. The salt, carefully hand-mined in this part of the Himalayan mountains, has been preserved since then.

Table salt is free from environmental pollution residues found in modern seas (microplastic particles) and chemical additives such as anti-caking agents. It is not iodized or refined. The beautiful orange color of this high-quality crystal salt is mainly due to iron and manganese.
