Stuffed mushrooms
A simple dish that can be served as a main course, a warm appetizer, or a side dish.
INGREDIENTS
For 12 stuffed mushrooms:
- Mushrooms
- A few slices of prosciutto
- 1 small onion
- 2 tablespoons cream cheese
- Mozzarella / grated cheese
- Salt, parsley
- Live & Love BIO ghee butter for sautéing
METHOD
Remove the stems from the mushrooms, use a spoon to scoop out the gills, and slightly hollow out the inside of the cap. Finely chop the onion and sauté it together with the chopped stems and the scooped-out mushroom interior in butter. Add the chopped prosciutto, then season with salt to taste. Transfer everything to a bowl, add the cream cheese and parsley, mix well, and fill the mushroom caps with this mixture. Place them in a baking dish and top each mushroom with some grated cheese and/or mozzarella.
Bake for 30 minutes at 180°C.
