LCHF soup dumpling
The dumplings in the recipe below are soft, pleasant-tasting and ideal for smothering in pure beef stock or tasty stews.
INGREDIENTS
for 2 servings
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp Live & love Organic Golden Flax Flour
- 1 level tablespoon Live & love Organic potato fibre
- 1 tbsp cheese spread
- 1/4 teaspoon of cream of tartar
- chives or spices (optional)
- a little salt
METHOD
Mix the ingredients. They don’t need to rest, they are best when mixed just before use. Shape into dumplings with a small teaspoon and drop into the soup/broth or salted drizzle… a few minutes before serving.
They come out soft and very much like semolina dumplings.

MY TIPS
- Shape the dumplings using a small teaspoon. First, dip the spoon in water or broth, then scoop some dough. Use another spoon to shape the dumpling and gently drop it into the simmering water or broth.
- They will puff up while cooking.
